Airfield Information
Marshall Airport Cambridge UK is a privately owned airport, located on 438 acres of airfield close to the world-renowned City of Cambridge and only 14 miles from Newmarket the historical home of horse racing. Approximately 60miles northeast of London it is well placed to serve the UK's capital as well as being a gateway to the East of England and beyond. The airport holds a Public Use Licence and can accept the operation of public transport aircraft up to Boeing 757 or Airbus A320 size.
Benefitting from no runway slot restrictions, 24/7 capability, 1965m/6447ft runway it is suitable for European short-haul operations and intercontinental business jets. With full Air Traffic Control and Navigational Aids including ILS, NDB, DME, Area and Approach Radar and Communications. In addition to its main runway, there are four grass runways conveniently placed for light aircraft.
The Airport also maintains a CAA Fire Category 7 in order to handle passenger aircraft it's security systems and passenger handling facilities have been upgraded for NASP compliance, and there are also Customs & Immigration facilities based at the Airport which provide all of the required border controls.
The airport is open seven days a week - 0730 to 2100 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1900 Saturday and Sunday (PPR outside these hours).
